Postcard Sizes and Paper Stocks

Flat postcards can have a standard size of 4”x6", 4.25”x6", 5”x7", 5.5”x8.5", 6”x9", or 6”x11", or a custom size ranging from 4”x4” to 6”x11”. The available standard sizes for Half-Folded Postcards are 8.5”x6”, 10”x7”, 11”x8.5”, 12”x9”, and 12”x11”, and for Tri-Folded Postcards, 12.75”x6”, 15”x7”, and 16.5”x8.5”. We use the 14 pt. cardstock, gloss or matte, and 13 pt. cardstock, matte for flat postcards, and the 10 pt. cardstock, gloss or matte for the folded postcards.

Postcard Printing Process

We use our digital printers to print 50 to 200 flat postcards and have a printing turnaround of 1 or 2 business days. For large quantity printing, we use our offset printers capable of printing 500 to 100,000 flat postcards and have a printing turnaround of 1 to 3 business days, or 250 to 100,000 folded postcards and have a printing turnaround of 2 or 3 business days.

Postcard Mailing Services

My Postcard Printing offers postcard mailing services including List Preparation and Evaluation, Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) certification for address accuracy and correction of details, address ink jetting for clear and automated printing of addresses, and postal pre-sorting. We also drop-off your mail to the local USPS office.

Direct Mailing Postcards

Mail your postcards directly to target customers. Set the mailing quantity (minimum of 500) and choose among the postage option available (First Class Card Rate, First Class Letter Rate, Standard Bulk Rate). The mailing preparation may add 2 to 3 business days to the production turnaround.

Create Professional Postcard Designs

We offer the online design tool that can help designers and non-designers alike to create professional postcard designs. It has an easy-to-use interface that lets you insert text, shapes, clipart and images to the design. You can have a design by starting from scratch or picking and customizing a premade design from our design gallery.

Get Free Proofs Before You Pay

Submit your design to us before you pay and our prepress team will take care of the rest to make sure that your postcards are print-ready. The prepress team will inspect your design to look for technical issues that might be off, and make adjustments accordingly. We will send a proof to you and if you’re satisfied with it, you may approve it to place your order.
