Flat Postcard Specs

Flat postcards can have a standard size of 4”x6", 4.25”x6", 5”x7", 5.5”x8.5", 6”x9", and 6”x11", and a custom size ranging from 4”x4” to 6”x11”. The paper stocks available are the 14 pt. cardstock, gloss or matte, and the 13 pt. cardstock, uncoated. Print 50 to 200 flat postcards with our digital printers and have a printing turnaround of 1 or 2 business days, or 500 to 100,000 flat postcards with our offset printers and have a printing turnaround of 1 to 3 business days.

Folded Postcard Specs

Half-Folded postcards can have a standard size of 8.5”x6”, 10”x7”, 11”x8.5”, 12”x9”, or 12”x11”. For Tri-Folded postcards, the standard sizes available are 12.75”x6”, 15”x7”, and 16.5”x8.5”. Custom sizes can range from 5”x7” to 11”x17”. We use our offset printers to print 250 to 100,000 folded postcards and have a printing turnaround of 2 or 3 business days. Print folded postcards in either a 10 pt. cardstock, gloss or 10 pt. cardstock, matte.

Mailing your Postcards

Set the mailing quantity and the postage option for your postcards. The available postage options will depend on the postcard’s specs. 4”x6” and 4.25”x6” flat postcards can have the First Class Card Rate postage option, while 4.5”x6” to 6”x11” flat postcards and folded postcards can have the First Class Letter Rate and Standard Bulk Rate postage option. Check the USPS postage options and delivery times-in-transit. The processing time for the mailing preparation may add 2 to 3 business days to the production turnaround.

Free Postcard Designs and Digital Proofs

Browse through our design gallery to view the premade designs we have available. Pick any design you like and customize it using our online design tool. The design tool lets you insert your own text, shapes, clipart and images to the design. You can also have a design by starting with a blank canvas and adding your text and images along the way. Once you finish designing, you can submit it to us to get a free digital proof. Our prepress team will examine your design by putting it through a 30 point inspection that covers technical issues such as resolution and artwork dimension. They will make all the essential adjustments for your designs to be print-ready. We will then send a proof to you with the indicated adjustments for your approval.
