Its weekend, you hear your friend say lets go out and have some fun. But is that what your friend really meant? Perhaps what he meant is let’s go out, break the law, do something stupid and get ourselves really sick. Excessive drinking especially if you are still a minor is a big mistake. You not are only risking your life but also the lives of people around you. Be responsible! Drink Moderately!

Sounds familiar? Well, those words are actually from a poster advocating responsible drinking not only to minors but to all people alike. We see a lot of posters like these in the street everyday. There are those that informs about an upcoming sale of a department store next week, there are also those that advertises of a theater production that stars some of the hottest young stars today and there are those that often come neglected – the informative, educational posters that warn or enlighten people about different aspects of human life.

Posters are not only use for advertisement. Although majority of posters printed today are about advertising a new product of service, there are also lots of posters out there that try to make a conscious effort for every person to become responsible citizens. But why do these posters often come unnoticed? Perhaps because they are not attractive enough or perhaps because they contain boring words and messages. Just like in creating an advertising poster, informative posters should also be catchy, captivating and lively. No one would like to spend their minute or two trying to read out a poster that doesn’t even appeal to them. This is why it is essential that your posters, be it for advertising or not, should be in its best style as much as possible.  

Creating awareness through posters is like enticing a passing customer to have a glance at your product or service with your brochures. When you are able to make your poster a beautiful artwork with simple, concise and legible message, chances are a bunch of people will be interested in reading your poster. It’s like trying to let a sick person eat a sour medicinal soup. You are trying to create a good, creative and effective poster out of a boring topic. So it is important that you lay down all the creativity that you have in order to make those people interested. Remember that creativity is the key to effectively.
