Preparing for Brochure Printing

Brochures are marketing materials that are commonly employed for promoting a business, its products and services. They usually come as single sheet documents and are printed in one or two colors or in a full or four color printing process. There are different sizes of brochures that are offered by brochure printing companies and these are 8 ½ x 11, 8 ½ x 14 and the 11 x 17. If ever you are in need of a different brochure size just inquire from your chosen brochure printing company if they are offering the size that you want.

Brochures are great materials since they tend to bridge communication between the company and its prospective customers. Brochures also act as representatives of the company especially since they cannot always be there to mingle with customers. This makes it even more important to make sure that your brochures are done professionally and created in the most attractive way possible.

Things to Consider in Printing Brochures
In any type of printing endeavor it is vital to plan everything in order to facilitate the smooth flow of things. It is also important to take into considerations all the important aspects that go with the printing procedure. In terms of brochure printing here are some of the essential things to consider:

1.    Budget- No printing activity can commence without the any budget to back it up. The set budget will help determine the type of materials to be use for the brochures, the type of printing method to utilize, the type of distribution method to apply and of course the printer or the printing company to employ.

2.    Contents for the Brochures- The success of brochure marketing campaign also depends on the contents as well as on the graphics used for the brochures. In constructing the content make sure that you use words that are understandable to all people. In case you have to make use of words that are related to your field of specialization be sure to define them in the simplest way possible. Remember to make your content persuasive and you can do this if you have confidence on the company, on the products and services that you are promoting.

3.    Designing the Brochures- You have two considerations in setting in the layout of your brochures either you chose tri-fold or bi-fold. Tri-folded brochures contain six panels, the inside and outside left, center and right. On the other hand bi-folded brochures have four panels, the inside and outside left and right. In terms of the front cover make it simple and direct. Place the title together with any images on the top half of your brochure. This will make the brochure more visible especially when placed with other similar documents. As for the back part of the brochure it would be best to place the company’s mission, vision and goals. And don’t forget to place also your contact details.
