Full Color Postcards at My Postcard Printing

Print flat and folded postcards in standard or custom sizes, with many paper stocks to choose from. There are three color options available for both flat and folded postcards:

• 4/0 – 4 color on one side with a blank back
• 4/1 – 4 color on one side with a black back
• 4/4 – 4 color on both sides

We use the CMYK color process for our Postcard Four Color Printing service. This color process is represented by the four colors cyan, magenta, yellow, and the key color (black), and are mixed together to form other different colors with excellent shades and hues.

Postcard Printing Process

For short-run prints, we use our digital printers capable of printing 50 to 200 flat postcards and have a 1 or 2 day printing turnaround. For printing in large amounts, we use our offset printers that can print 500 to 100,000 flat postcards with a printing turnaround of 1 to 3 business days, and 250 to 100,000 folded postcards with a printing turnaround of 2 or 3 business days.

Paper Types and Custom Sizes

Flat postcards can have a custom size ranging from 4”x4” to 6”x11”, and can be printed on a 14 pt. cardstock, gloss or matte, or a 13 pt. cardstock, uncoated. The custom size for folded postcards can range from 5”x7” up to 11”x17”. Folded postcards have a thinner 10 pt. gloss or matte cardstock compared to flat postcards to compensate for the folding.

Postcard Mailing

You can set the mailing quantity and the postage options when mailing your postcards. The postage options available will depend on the postcard’s specifications. 4”x6” and 4.25”x6” postcards can have the First Class Card Rate postage options, while 4.5”x6” to 6”x11” postcards, folded postcards and postcards in envelopes can have the First Class Letter Rate and Standard Bulk Rate postage options. 2 to 3 business days may be added to the production turnaround for the mailing preparation.

Create your own Postcard Designs

You can create your own postcard design by either starting from scratch or customizing a premade design from our gallery. Use our online design tool to insert text, shapes, clipart and even your own images such as the products and services you offer. You can also put photos of upcoming events that you want to promote and use that as the design for your postcard.

Get Digital Proofs for Free

Submit your design to us before you place an order to get a free digital proof. Our prepress team will personally check your design and put it through a 30 point inspection to check for technical matters. They will also make any adjustments needed for your postcards to be printed without any mistakes or inaccuracies.
